On Thursday, Equity Sports, on behalf of Walker, posted a lengthy notification on Instagram about his draft status.

Mahomes Sr. is proud of his oldest son, who is well on his way to achieving greatness in football. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t keep himself updated about his other kids even though he rarely gets to see them.

Walker is Mahomes’ half-brother. Mahomes Sr. shares Walker with Jessamyn Walker, who raised him with her partner Gerry Howatt.

In an interview with FOX4 in 2024, Mahomes Sr. said Walker is a laid-back individual.

[Graham] stays away from the spotlight and goes out and grinds and works. But a very impressive young man. His manners are intact, his stepdad did a great job with him, his mom did a great job with him and now I’m getting the chance to put my hands on him a little more.

There have been several siblings who shared the pitch together either on the same team or playing against each other in the NFL. Sterling Sharpe-Shannon Sharpe and the Gronkowski Brothers are to name a couple of sibling pairs.

Mahomes Sr. wished for his two sons to get a similar opportunity.

Patrick always has his receivers come down, so we’re looking forward to that. You know, his word may be a little good, so maybe he can get [Graham Walker] in the door too.
