The Atlanta Falcons are set to face the two-time Super Bowl defending champions in week 3. Ahead of the exciting matchup, safety Jessie Bates believes he has found the Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce’s weakness and he wouldn’t back down from using it.

When it comes to figuring out something that will hit the opponents at the right spot to distract them, people often tend to target their partners. Following that ideology, the Falcons safety believes trash-talking Kelce’s superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift would aid in their winning, especially since she would be at the stadium to support him.

During his recent appearance on The Pacman Jones Show, Bates opened up about his plans to defeat the Chiefs, who haven’t lost any game this season. To everyone’s surprise, his plans were far from any specific gameplay to outperform them. Instead, he had decided to strategize with verbal attacks on one of the key parts of the Chiefs’ strong offense– tight end Kelce.

I don't listen to much Taylor Swift, but obviously you got to have respect for what she's done in her career. And then with Travis [Kelce], you got to have some type of respect with him.But once that clock ticks and we're in between those lines. I see red sometimes and might say some crazy stuff to him, it may involve Taylor, in may not. It's just part of the game, talking your little smack.

The Chiefs are headed for a road game against the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this Sunday evening. The safety Bates is coming off an impressive game with game-high 12 tackles and one interception. Meanwhile, the three-time Super Bowl champion has been a little off his game this season.

Stephen A. Smith calls out Travis Kelce’s slow start

While Kansas City are experts in managing with less, the star tight end’s inconsistencies has caught many eyes. His individual stats has been below the mark, prompting ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith to address his concerns live on television, with a big mention of his bae, Swift.

We saw more Taylor Swift than we saw Travis Kelce yesterday on a Sunday afternoon, and any other time that's applicable. That's not happening. You got to get it going, bro. You got 39 receiving yards in the first two games. Come on now, it's time. Football season is here. Honeymoon's over. Let's handle our business.

The nine-time Pro Bowler has addressed his underwhelming performance as well, during his New Heights podcast and vowed to do better in the upcoming matches. Perhaps, Bates’ trash-talking may motivate him to destroy the Falcons, marking his solid comeback.
