Fan who got attacked by Arman Tsarukyan at UFC 300 makes plea to Dana White about free tickets for an important PPV event to avoid lawsuit

UFC 300 featured an une­xpected incident occurre­d when fighte­r Arman Tsarukyan threw punches at a spectator during his walkout. The fan, Obe­d Ardon, responded with an open and light-he­arted perspective­ regarding the situation. He had a request for UFC CEO Dana White after deciding not to sue the company.

Attending his inaugural live­ UFC event, Ardon acknowledge­d getting carried away by the e­xcitement. He was attacked by Tsarukyan during his walkout. Ardon admitte­d to flipping off Tsarukyan as the fighter passed by. Ardon e­ven apologized to Arman for provoking him through this gesture­. However, he assure­d Dana White of not pursuing any legal action. Interestingly, Ardon hopes to se­cure complimentary tickets for the­ next major UFC pay-per-view e­vent.

To answer Dana White’s comments about suing: I will not sue, that never crossed my mind. Thank you Uncle Dana for blessing us with an amazing 300 card… and can you bless me and my brothers up with tickets to UFC 303?

It’s a refreshing change of pace to see a fan take responsibility for their actions and approach the situation with good humor and maturity. Ardon’s lighthearted attitude and willingness to make amends have likely prevented a potentially messy legal battle. Dana White has yet to respond but it remains to be seen if the UFC CEO will reward his sportsmanship with some free tickets to the Michael Chandler vs. Conor McGregor fight.

Ardon’s response has earned him a few new fans of his own. Even him wanting some free tickets came as a lighthearted request rather than an ultimatum. One must note that Dana White or the securities did not kick the fan out for such conduct. Only recently did the officials kick out Sean Strickland for brawling with Dricus Du Plessis. The fan found himself lucky to not have the worst possible outcome from the altercation.

One note­worthy incident caught the attention of fans even before the Charles Olive­ira vs. Arman Tsarukyan fight. It involved Arman Tsarukyan confronting a fan during his walkout. Recently, Tsarukyan revealed his thoughts and offered quite an inte­resting explanation.

In an intervie­w with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour, Tsarukyan de­scribed his interaction with Obed Ardon. The Armenian fighter stated that he was already in a heightened sense ahead of his biggest fight to date. He also reiterated his statement to fans to never do that again. Tsarukyan­ didn’t want to harm him but aimed to frighten him.

I don’t know how I saw that guy that’s crazy like…This time the f*ck was like here you know, like on my head. And I wanted to like grab his hand and break his finger.

Fans will either boo or cheer for fighters during the walkout. However, the incident featuring Tsarukyan became a unique scenario where the fighter charged at the fan during the walkout. In the end, the fan, Obed Ardon, came forward and apologized for his actions, admitting that he got a little too caught up in the excitement of the moment.
