Randy Orton journeyed to NXT this past week in his hometown of St. Louis. It seems like he had a fun time there. He even taught his WWE lookalike and NXT wrestler, Myles Borne, his signature turnbuckle pose. In a video posted by WWE NXT’s official X handle, Myles could be seen attempting the pose. Just then, Orton slid in, surveying the scenes.

The Viper approached Myles and told him to continue what he was doing. Myles took the cue and tried once again. However, it wasn’t perfect yet. Randy finally decided to make some adjustments, wherein he course corrected the arm positioning of Borne. That was it. The latter couldn’t contain his excitement, having nailed the Orton pose at last.

Apart from this, the 14-time World Champion also had a match on NXT. He overcame a valiant effort from Je’Von Evans. During the closing moments, a rare miscue saw Randy miss a springboard RKO on Evans, who appeared to have gotten a little overambitious with the amount of spin he generated off the ropes. It eventually led to Orton mistime the RKO, and that was an extremely rare sight.

Nonetheless, The Apex Predator used his veteran instincts to recover from the botch. After the match, Je’Von could be seen apologizing to the WWE legend for miscalculating his jump. Orton talked some sense into the 20-year-old and eventually raised his hand for such a stellar outing.

Back in his own territory of SmackDown, he punched Kevin Owens for turning on Cody Rhodes. In retaliation, The Prizefighter was caught assaulting The Legend Killer in the parking lot. General Manager Nick Aldis rushed to the site and deployed security to tame an unhinged KO.
