XQC GTA

A growing number of Twitch fans are turning against Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel over his  “constant” GTA roleplaying streams, even going so far as to harass the French-Canadian star and his mods — and he’s had enough. This comes after there have been multiple toxic messages and tweets been sent to the twitch streamer.

xQc has been grinding GTA RP on the famous No Pixel lobbies (when he’s not banned, that is) for more than a year now, carving himself out a place in the server’s long history.

Why are the fans turning more toxic towards xQc in the GTA Server?

Though, not everyone in the streamer’s chats has quite enjoyed his love/hate story with the server. In 2022, a small slice of his millions of fans is staging a campaign to get him to pack in GTA, even going so far as to abuse xQc, his mods, and other Twitch fans. And, regrettably, the targeted abuse is worsening. These harassing messages aren’t only confined to xQc’s Twitch chat; they’ve also made their way into his DMs, forums, and Twitter accounts, and are now harming his admirers.

The mounting GTA concerns were initially limited to his fast-paced Twitch chatroom, where over 100k dedicated “juicers” joke around during xQc’s streams. However, in recent weeks, things have started to deteriorate. Yes, the continual stream of “PepeAgony” responses when he starts up the No Pixel servers is still there. Some fans have left Twitch to seek out fans of the Grand Theft Auto broadcasts elsewhere.

The account’s administrators spoke with Kotaku as well, saying that the situation is getting worse by the day:

“It seems these people are banned from xQc’s chat, so they come here on twitter. We try our best to ignore shitty comments, but when regular people in our community are also becoming victims of harassment because they like watching xQc play GTA RP, it bothers us.”

xQc has yet to openly address any of these escalating issues, particularly the targeted harassment directed against his GTA fans on Twitter and Reddit. The 26-year-old, on the other hand, has made his feelings about the small subset of his audience that insists on his playing various games known – only last week, he retaliated in his chat and threatened to ban them forever, even following through on those threats for a handful.
