The latest episode of SmackDown marked the start of the 2024 WWE Draft. While most of the superstars stayed on the same brand, a few of them got drafted to another brand. Furthermore, some hand-picked NXT stars like Bron Breakker and Kiana James also got called up on the main roster.

With Bron Breakker joining Raw as its newest member and Baron Corbin becoming a part of SmackDown, their tag team, The Wolfdogs, fell apart. When the two superstars met backstage, The Lone Wolf was happy for his tag team partner’s big call-up to the main roster. However, the 26-year-old star got caught up in the emotions and recalled some of his greatest moments with Corbin.

Before officially being called up to the main roster, Breakker had already wrestled a few matches on the blue brand. In his debut match on the main roster, he defeated Dante Chan on the February 16 episode of SmackDown without any fuss. Moreover, he squashed Cedric Alexander in just 16 seconds on the latest edition of SmackDown before it was announced that he was drafted to Raw.

Breakker and Corbin teamed up and took part in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They were dominant throughout the whole tournament and ended up winning it all by defeating Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams in the final. Their days of glory weren’t over yet, as they became the NXT Tag Team Champions by defeating the D’Angelo family on the February 13 episode of NXT.

Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin bid their goodbyes to NXT as they both moved to the main roster. However, they were drafted to different brands, which marked the end of their tag team run. As a result, fans expressed their disappointment in the team’s breakup on social media.

Some fans said the 26-year-old star was destined for a single run and would soon win championship gold.
