Fans Demand Giants Help Jaxson Dart as His 3 TDs Prove Insufficient Against 49ers – “Dart is Playing by Himself…”

When Jaxson Dart led the New York Giants to their only two wins so far, they were ecstatic as the rookie quarterback looked like the missing piece of this puzzle.
Those two wins gave them hope that the franchise, long struggling for relevance ever since Eli Manning‘s two Super Bowls, would not start their journey towards the top.
Their second, against the Philadelphia Eagles, was impressive. So was the 1-point loss to the Denver Broncos, where Dart’s only mistake, a late-game interception and a missed field goal, cost them the win.
Those performances were without star wide receiver Malik Nabers, after the latter was done for the season with a torn right ACL. Then it was running back Cam Skattebo‘s turn in their Week 8 loss to the Eagles.
When the Giants welcomed the San Francisco 49ers this week, there was hope that the team would at least fight their inconsistent opponents. Jaxson Dart did his part, throwing 2 touchdowns and running one in with his legs. But 2 of those were in the 4th quarter, when most of the damage was already done.
In the first 3 sessions, the home team scored all of 10 points. The lack of offensive prowess was evident, as the Giants could not make anything out of 5 drives in the first half.

Even during their late-game efforts, Jaxson Dart threw a pinpoint pass towards the end zone, only for wide receiver Darius Slayton to lose the ball despite catching it first.
Fans hope Giants use trade market to bring in help for Jaxson Dart
On that play, fans remarked that had Darius Slayton caught the ball, the Giants would have had enough time to try to lead a late-game upset. But they believe that those moments are when quality players shine.

Had the New York Giants invested in some top-tier receivers, they could have run with Jaxson Dart and possibly tried to win the game. Fans believe even their early game struggles might not have happened. Check out examples of those reactions below:
Dart is playing by himself out there.

Not sure what the thought process was behind drafting Darius Alexander in the 3rd round, clearly been lacking depth at WR. We have no one besides Nabers

“Get dart some help” brother it’s the giants… they haven’t had “help” for their QBs in a decade

We need a solid WR2 when Nabers comes back cause none of these guys are even good enough

There is just one day before the trade deadline passes. It will depend on the type of deal the Giants receive for them to make a decision. They are lacking a true No. 1 wideout, and that is showing in their games.
No matter what Jaxson Dart does, he needs pass catchers who can help him exploit his skills. If they do not address the issue, they might be in for a ride, especially with the opposition they will face the rest of the way.
Jaxson Dart laments absence of Giants fans at MetLife Stadium
This was a proper East and West Coast battle, with the San Francisco 49ers coming over to the Big Apple. Surprisingly, they had quite a bit of support, as their traveling fans turned out in numbers.
They are known to support their team wherever they go, but the sheer absence of New York Giants fans at MetLife Stadium was telling. Even Jaxson Dart was not amused by it.
That was interesting. I’ve never played at a home game where I felt like it was kind of lopsided in that department. They have a good fanbase, and they traveled well.
Drake Maye said to reporters
Jaxson Dart was asked about the 49ers fans at MetLife Stadium today:

He appreciated the traveling 49ers fans for showing their support. At the same time, he could not believe Giants fans did not do their part to cheer for their team.
