WWE is finding new ways to integrate Hulk Hogan into its programming. Even though it didn’t come at the expense of 71-year-old hogging airtime on Raw this week, a commercial got the job done. For the unversed, the retired wrestler’s Real American beer brand is signed to a multi-year strategic partnership with WWE.

So one way or another, the company is going to push the product on the viewers, it seems. This time around, the WWE HOF’er appeared in an advert to promote the beer with the flag of the USA in the background. Hogan’s name has been quite synonymous with controversies over the past decade or more. His racism scandal of 2015 has only tarnished the wrestling legacy he stitched in the 90s.

Last month, The Hulkster received a reality check from the fans. In his first WWE appearance since January 2023, the real-life Terry Bollea was slapped with a cascade of boos. Despite a hostile territory raining down on him, Hulk did his shtick before exiting. There are a ton of iterations about how that segment was perceived backstage.

Hogan allegedly had his apprehensions before stepping into the “liberal city of LA.” Consequently, WWE will be more meticulous from now onwards before sending Hogan in front of a live crowd based on which city they’re in. Speaking of someone who was backstage with The Immortal One after his Raw debacle, it’s The Undertaker.

Recounting the firsthand experience, Taker couldn’t control his laughter when it was brought up on his podcast. The Deadman claimed that despite the negative reaction, Hogan no-sold it. Moreover, Mark Callaway asserted not having felt bad either, as Karma hits one back, Taker alluded.

Having had to face the wrath of Hulk Hogan during Raw‘s broadcast, the fans ranted about it online. The following reactions on X only bolster the fact that no one is willing to see The Immortal One pop up on their screens in 2025.

While many get the rationale behind the aforementioned commercial stemming from WWE’s deal with Hogan’s beer, they’re seemingly peeved anyway. One said that maybe the continuous complaining will make Triple H understand the woes of the fans someday.

A few grateful comments saw peeps thank their commercial-free Netflix feed, which is the case outside of the US. Amid the ongoing hate train for Hogan, it’s unlikely that he’ll be put back on WWE TV anytime soon. He was reportedly slated to appear at Saturday Night’s Main Event last month. However, his son’s wedding got in the way.
