UFC veteran Tony Ferguson came back to the boxing ring last night on the main card of Andrew Tate vs Chase DeMoor. Ferguson took on Warren Spencer and won the fight via unanimous decision to become the Misfits middleweight champion. It was a brutal beatdown that reminded fans of prime Ferguson from his UFC lightweight days.

Tony Ferguson imposed relentless pressure throughout the bout, dictating tempo with jabs, combinations, and constant forward movement. The 32-year-old Spencer showed toughness but struggled to match Ferguson’s volume, pace, and experience consistently across rounds. Round two proved pivotal when ‘El Cucuy’ landed a sharp right hand, scoring a knockdown and forcing Spencer into survival mode.

Spencer protested alleged back-of-head shots after referee interventions, yet persevered through adversity. The third round saw Spencer rally bravely, trading heavier punches despite visible damage, while Ferguson maintained output and positional dominance. The fight intensified into a gritty firefight, testing endurance and durability as both men exchanged without stopping.

The final bell saved Spencer from defeat, sealing Ferguson’s unanimous decision, as judges scored it 49-45, 49-45, 48-46. It was Ferguson’s second win at Misfits Boxing following his win over Salt Papi a few months ago. The former UFC interim lightweight champion was hyped about his win and took this opportunity to shut down his doubters.

I love being an athlete, and boxing is another chance for me to demonstrate to all you (expletive) that it’s fun.

The influencer boxing stage has given him a spotlight and respect, allowing him to shine without incurring the risks of a punishing grind schedule. It seems like at the age of 41, Tony Ferguson has no interest in slowing down or retiring from fighting anytime soon.

However, a sudden decline followed as Ferguson suffered eight consecutive losses, raising serious concerns. Many critics believed accumulated punishment and age had permanently diminished him, claiming any meaningful comeback at elite levels was impossible.

Defying expectations, ‘El Cucuy’ reinvented himself through Misfits Boxing, finding competitive fire outside the Octagon spotlight. Nevertheless, here are some notable reactions from his latest win over Warren Spencer at Misfits Boxing.

Many fans were delighted watching Tony Ferguson complete a strong comeback, transitioning from UFC setbacks into a victorious boxing return. Supporters mentioned how the veteran endured several painful losses before finally rebuilding momentum and experiencing the feeling of becoming a champion.

Others hilariously discussed a potential boxing match between Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov, a rivalry that famously never materialized before. The American fighter appeared emotional during the post-fight presser, and fans were genuinely excited to see the veteran competing again soon.
