For multiple reasons, Kendrick Lamar‘s Super Bowl halftime show was historic for the entire NBA. Chance the Rapper recently commended highly of the performance on TNT, also highlighting the protest mid-show. The media conveniently edited the clip leading the fans to call out on the Sports show.

Chance the Rapper sat down with the NBA on TNT for the All-Star Weekend where he was enquired about Lamar’s performance being the first rapper to ever perform on that stage. The former praised the unprecedented event, calling it was ‘the coolest thing he saw.’

Notably, the fans took to the platform to denounce the authorities concerned about the editing. A background performer carried out the protest in question, parading the flag by the end of the show.

Like Chance the Rapper quipped, Kendrick Lamar made history performing the Super Bowl halftime show solo. The ‘Not Like Us’ singer delivered an electrifying performance with thrilling creative direction. The landmark event also featured Samuel L. Jackson, who introduced the headliner. Later, SZA also joined the stage for 2 songs with the artist.
