“Better than Will Smith” – Fans go wild as KSI gets revenge and slaps Dillon Danis in chaotic face-offs
After contractual gags, antics and a slap in 2022, KSI takes revenge with a smack on Dillon Danis, before Misfits Boxing "Unfinished Business" X Series 21.

It’s Pancake Tuesday in the island kingdom of the UK. Seemingly, white collar boxer/English influencer KSI started his celebrations stint quite early. It was smack-a-pancake during faceoffs day when he met Dillon Danis. The duo headline the upcoming Misfits Boxing “Unfinished Business” X Series 21 card, streaming on DAZN PPV.
BJJ Ace and sometimes-fighter Dillon Danis recently spoke on how working with strike-heavy Alex Pereira prepped him for Misfits Boxing’s “Unfinished Business”. Danis, a part of the Misfits & DAZN: X Series 10 setup, trolled away and faced an R6 disqualification in his previous boxing outing before this.
But nothing… literally nothing could have geared him for a slap to the face. The altercation took place after a tense presser to promote their Misfits boxing bout on March 29 in Manchester.
To the bad ick of live-stream mediators Olivia Buzaglo and Dan Hardy, KSI got up and then smacked away on his left cheek! A smack-induced brawl broke out; security personnel had to pull back Danis. Contrastingly, what goes around comes around. Danis preemptively struck Logan Paul during Misfits & DAZN: X Series 10 presser.

KSI (4-1) and Danis (0-1) were up for a six-round exhibition bout at 178 pounds long back in January 2023. However, the generic practicing ‘keyboard warrior’ pulled out 10 days from the fight. KSI was game and stepped up against streamer FaZe Temperrr (Thomas Oliveira).
This rebooking that does nothing for legacy boxing, the 4 belts, and commissions, had no one interested. However, this slap just spices up things a bit; fans have reacted to it as such.
Fight fans react to KSI slapping Dillon Danis
What unfinished business would Dillon Danis have when he meets KSI in the squared ring at Misfits Boxing’s “Unfinished Business”? Danis and KSI have a history from their skirmish at the Misfits X DAZN X Series 003 event in Austin.
Danis was jiu-jitsu coach of ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor, and the Dublin notoriety once expressed ample interest in KSI. The latter was even recently on the rumor mill for McGregor’s return.

There’s the element of a fiery presser and verbal barbs. But now, things have shot off with a violent altercation and KSI slapping the rival. Perhaps these pre-fight antics are why top names refuted to fight him before. Here is what fans think of it:
Better than will smiths slap 💀💀 https://t.co/BBd5eldgSU

Normally I'd say bad sportsmanship. But since it's Dillon Danis, it's acceptable.

Danis had slapped (flicked) the rival when he challenged him at Misfits X DAZN X Series 003. Danis’ recent performance against Paul, however, did not enhance the optics on his MMA skills. KSI has often doused he is better and faster than him. He even touted that his “double-leg takedown BS” and BJJ prowess meant nothing. Now, he went out to prove it in full swing!
Many fans have expressed as such on Danis being slow to the game. Given his lack of a sturdy performance to back up his banter, fans do not veer the Danis way anymore. He often catches fire due to his excessive antics and call-ups. Hence, a prime response (@RuiMarq02536557) even quipped it was “Better than Will Smith’s slap 💀💀”. Here’s hoping Danis’ next full-strike MMA venture fares better than this.
