Fans go wild as Michael Jordan’s son Marcus gets arrested for cocaine possession: “Meanwhile Bronny in the league”
MJ's Son, Marcus Jordan, arrested in Orange County for cocaine possession, DUI, and resisting arrest, reigniting the GOAT debate.
Marcus Jordan arrested in California for DUI, resisting arrest and cocaine possession
Marcus James Jordan, the youngest son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, was recently taken into custody for driving under the influence of narcotics—cocaine, to be precise. After the Orange County Police Department arrested the 34-year-old, they charged him with multiple felonies, including resisting arrest, possession of cocaine, and a DUI.
TMZ.com recently released Marcus Jordan’s mugshot, which has been going viral on X. The details about the events leading up to the arrest have yet to be released by the police department. However, this news adds to Jordan Jr.’s troubles, considering his previous legal issues. Last year, he was photographed snorting cocaine by a poolside table during lunch in the south of France.

Jordan Jr. had his first run-in with the law soon after his collegiate basketball career came to an end in 2012. At the time, he was slapped with charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstruction of justice for an alleged altercation with two females outside a hotel in Omaha.

This breaking news has propelled NBA fans to bash Michael Jordan, with some comparing his kids to LeBron James’s. One fan went as far as to say that while Marcus is snorting heaps of cocaine, Bronny James is grinding in the G-League, stating, “Another reason why LeBron is the GOAT. His seed is better than MJ’s.”
In the hours leading up to the event, Marcus reposted a tribute video on the account of his high-end luxury sneaker business, Trophy Room. He launched his business in 2016 after completing his bachelor’s degree in hospitality management. The sneaker boutique store was first opened in Disney Springs, Florida, before fully transitioning to an online store in recent years.
Fans compare Bronny James to Marcus Jordan following his arrest
Since then, zealots from both sides of the GOAT argument have made their case as to why Marcus’ arrest detracts from Jordan’s legacy, in contrast to LeBron James, who is currently playing at an elite level at 40 with his son, Bronny James. Here are some of the best fan reactions to Jordan’s son getting arrested on drug charges.

The 34-year-old male member of the Jordan has been in the limelight for all the wrong reasons, from his controversial affair with a 16 year older, Larsa Pippen to his viral snapshots of openly snorting cocaine in France. On the other hand, James Jr. recently stole the show in Madison Square Garden as the crowd chanted MVP for the rookie in a victory over the Knicks.
