“Veteran vs rookie” – Fans go WILD as Sabrina Ionescu shows her class against Caitlin Clark
Sabrina Ionescu faked out Caitlin Clark, and the clip's now going viral.

Caitlin Clark and Sabrina Ionescu
Sabrina Ionescu led the New York Liberty to a 91-80 win over the Indiana Fever, scoring 12 points and adding five assists. She even channeled her inner Michael Jordan with a fake pass which fooled Caitlin Clark and then shrugged after a three-pointer shot.
The Liberty stayed undefeated, while the Fever remained winless. However, Caitlin Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, had 22 points, eight assists, and six rebounds in the loss.

Ionescu and Clark have similar hype surrounding their careers, with both being top picks and having impressive college credentials. However, Sabrina Ionescu has had more success in the WNBA so far.
The Liberty’s success can be attributed to their strong roster, including Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones. If the Fever can build a similar roster around Clark, she has the potential to be a superstar in the WNBA and contend for championships.
