However, another Heat star, Bam Adebayo gave the NBA world and his fans a reason to smile. Adebayo was seated courtside before the game and displayed his footwear selection for the evening, which was A’ja Wilson‘s soon-to-be-released Nike A’One trademark sneaker.
Notably, Adebayo and Wilson are reportedly dating each other, with Wilson claiming the former as her ‘favorite Olympian’ during the 2024 Paris Olympics. Adebayo’s choice of wearing the sneaker comes due to the Heat releasing its fan-favorite Miami Vice uniforms, making it a perfect match.

Notably, the NBA big man arrived in Columbia, South Carolina to see her jersey retirement ceremony wearing a matching pinstripe suit. This is when the A’ja Wilson and Adebayo’s affection takes off. When the basketball players shared their individual handshakes during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, rumors were rekindled.
Previous trolls of the duo included Bleacher Report’s preseason graphic and NBA reporter Taylor Rooks. The Miami Heat even made fun of them. However, since then the two have made their intentions clear regarding each other. As for the unreleased shoe, in May 2025, SNKRS, nike.com, and a few retail locations will carry the Nike A’One Signature Collection.
