Fans in awe of Caitlin Clark’s ‘casual cannon’ ahead of Super Bowl LIX: “Cowboys need to draft her”
WNBA star Caitlin Clark stars in a recent Gatorade promotion event, showcasing her insane quarterback skills.
Caitlin Clark
Because of her abilities on the basketball court, Caitlin Clark has quickly risen to prominence as one of the most well-known athletes in the United States. Most recently, Clark decided to test her limits at another sport. She decided to play football in a QuarterBack role, participating in a throwing practice before Sunday’s Super Bowl.
Clark put on a show. She shared a video of herself at the Gatorade Lab in New Orleans on Instagram. For fans looking to demonstrate their football-throwing prowess, the Gatorade Lab essentially serves as a target practice range. In the video, Clark demonstrated her remarkable quarterbacking abilities by hitting target after target.
The purpose of the film was to promote Gatorade. At the start, she stumbles on a few throws and is “very dehydrated,” as Clark states at the start of the film. She then starts hitting her goals after consuming some Gatorade. Supporters pointed out that Clark’s WNBA “laser pass” skills would be a good fit for throwing a football.

There is a chance that Clark could be spotted at the Super Bowl in New Orleans this weekend at Caesars Superdome. She has been supporting the Kansas City Chiefs during the playoffs and even went to their game against the Houston Texans. Given that, all eyes will now shift to the main event this Sunday, with many sports stars and celebrities tipped to attend the decorated event.
Fans left stunned after witnessing Caitlin Clark’s ‘insane’ quarterback skills
During the Gatorade event, Caitlin Clark showcases fans her insane ‘quarterback’ skills. In the video, Clark wears the ‘dehydration goggles’ and shows fans how tough it is to shoot. After three unsuccessful tries with the goggles, she tries again without them to demonstrate the difference. Even though this isn’t her sport, Clark hit five consecutive throws with ease right away.
This left fans in utter shock, with many praising the WNBA stars’ versatility. Many fans from both the NBA and NFL communities took out time to praise the basketball star. One fan wrote on X, “Casual cannon.” Another fan wrote on X, “Cowboys need to draft her” Check out some of the reactions below:

Given her arm strength she might be able to persuade Andy Reid, the coach of the Chiefs, to include her in the squad on the big day with a performance like that! Jokes aside, given Clark’s golf and soccer background while attending high school and college in Iowa, her multisport skills may not come as a surprise, but the WNBA player truly shined in basketball.
