As WWE gears up for its first edition of Saturday Night's Main Event in 2025, a Hulk Hogan appearance is reportedly in the cards.

It appears like WWE is leaning into the negative press for Hulk Hogan. After getting booed out of the building on the Netflix premiere of Raw, the 71-year-old wrestling icon is apparently set for another appearance this month. As per Wrestling Observer Radio, The Hulkster is set for Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 25.
One would feel that the company is playing with fire with its handling of Hogan. The latter allegedly thought that the crowd’s merciless treatment of him on Raw was a by-product of his political association with Donald Trump. It was then noted that WWE and Hulk would be more cautious while mapping out his TV presence, taking into account which city they’re in.
For instance, Saturday Night’s Main Event is in San Antonio next weekend. The Hogan-endorsed Republican Party led by Mr. Trump bagged 40 electoral votes from the state of Texas. Consequently, The Hulkster may not get bashed this time around if WWE decides to send him out in front of the attendees.
Hogan’s recent integration into WWE programming could be linked to his new partnership with them. Also, his promotion on the adverts of SNME’s first episode in 2025 all but confirms that he’ll be there. Which would likely mean that Jesse “The Body” Ventura may be off that night.
Ventura had previously confirmed that he’s going to be a part of every SNME, precisely four times a year. However, until the real-life beef between Ventura and Hogan gets resolved, they’re not expected to be put on the same show.
Fans slam WWE for booking Hulk Hogan despite rejection on Raw’s Netflix premiere
As it keeps getting more obvious with each passing day, the WWE fans don’t want anything to do with Hulk Hogan. They firmly believe that his involvement in matters of racial discrimination over the years has outdone the wrestling legacy he nurtured.
Ahead of his reported appearance at Saturday Night’s Main Event, the wrestling peeps are incensed. One called Triple H out for keep shoving Hogan down people’s throats, calling the WWE HOF’er a racist.
Many are hoping that Hulk receives the same hammering from the SNME crowd that he got on Raw’s Netflix debut. A handful of fans believe that WWE may be bringing him back as a heel. A recent report from Daily Mail suggested that the company has plans to turn him heel.
