Astounding scenes at the French Open as 6th seed Andrey Rublev lost his cool during his third-round match against Matteo Arnaldi. The Russian was the clear favorite of the matchup but was surprised by Arnaldi’s level as he caused an upset. 

From the get-go, the Italian had the upper hand. He went all-out against Rublev and fired some deadly forehands to keep him on the back foot. With every point lost, Rublev’s frustration built up, and it reached its peak when the umpire had to be called down to check a shot.

Upon reviewing the ball mark, the umpire gave the point to the Italian. At this point, Rublev lost his cool and started showing his frustration on the racket. Throughout the match, he had smashed his racket on the ground, hit it on his knee, and even threw it across the court

Fans were extremely disappointed at Rublev’s actions and filled the X comments with comments against his actions. Overall, it was a terrible day for Rublev, who failed to control his game and emotion.
