Questions have arisen regarding Pep Guardiola and his Manchester City side after the team gave away a three-goal lead to settle for a draw with Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League. The home side conceded three goals in just 14 minutes in what turned out to be a late collapse.
Man City started the match on a positive note, with Erling Haaland scoring a 44th-minute penalty. They doubled their lead just five minutes later when Ilkay Gundogan scored an impressive volley from the edge of the box.
Haaland made it 3-0 soon after. However, the tides turned after Josko Gvardiol’s mistake allowed Feynoord’s Anis Hadji to pull one goal back. Santiago Giminez and David Hancko then scored a goal each in the last ten minutes to ensure a dramatic comeback for the visitors.
The Cityzens are now on a six-match winless run, after having most recently been hammered by Tottenham in a 4-1 defeat. Sloppy and fragile defending led to City throwing away two points against Feyenoord. The result leaves them in the 15th position on the table, with eight points from five matches.
They were even booed by fans on their way off the pitch. The Manchester giants’ last win came a month ago against Southampton in the Premier League. Since then, they have lost five matches and conceded an astonishing 17 goals.

The collapse against Feyenoord means that Man City are now the first team in UCL history to fail to win a match after having a three-goal advantage by the 75th minute. It will be challenging for the club to end their disastrous run soon as they face league leaders Liverpool next.
