Internet was getting ready for one of the best interviews of all time as two of the greats of their respective spectrums took centerstage. Jimmy Donaldson who is also known as MrBeast, one of the most well known YouTubers met Cristiano Ronaldo for an interview. It goes without saying that the fans were expecting the video to blow up, surprisingly, it hit a roadblock and the netizens were quick to point it out.
MrBeast has 331 million subscribers on YouTube which is the highest for any content-creator on the platform. He was pretty awestruck at how Cristiano Ronaldo garnered a fanbase of 67.5 million within a short span of launching his channel. When that happened, MrBeast in an interaction with TMZ Sports said that he was expecting Ronaldo to cross 20-30 million in a month but over 60 million was a mind-boggling number.
Encompassing all the social media accounts, Cristiano Ronaldo crossed the magical number of 1 billion followers in September and no other athlete boasts of such a gigantic fan-following. Taking to X, Ronaldo posted a 14-second clip of his recent video using a cheeky caption, “Do you think I’ll beat @MrBeast?” Responding to Ronaldo’s question, MrBeast said that if he is able to find a rhythm and get other footballers on the show, the numbers will definitely soar.

Elsewhere, Ronaldo’s hopes of lifting the Saudi Pro League took a major hit as they were defeated at home by Al Qadsiah. CR7 opened the scoring for Al Nassr in the 32nd minute. However, the slender lead was blown away as an equalizer from Julian Quinones brought the visitors back in the game within just five minutes of falling behind. The second half saw former Arsenal star, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring the second while also clinching the win for Al Qadisah.

While others took snapshots from the video and posted them in the comments, underlining how awkward MrBeast looked in the video.
The comments simply got funnier with a few fans pointing out that MrBeast was still trying to figure out how he got in the video in the first place. The video did eventually garner numbers but going by the sizeable follower base of both the superstars, somehow the traction seemed on the lesser side. Ronaldo’s Saudi outfit, Al Nassr will be taking the yard again on Monday where they will lock horns with Al-Gharafa in the Elite tier of the AFC Champions League. Their next clash in the SPL with be up against Damac on Friday.
