The Queen’s Club Championships crowned their new champion Tommy Paul after the American played amazing tennis throughout the week. Paul has always performed well on grass and once again displayed his skill, cruising through the rounds on his way to the tournament win.

He faced compatriot Sebastian Korda in the semis, who had beaten him in the previous tournament. However, Paul inched out a close victory before repeating the same against Lorenzo Musetti, who had done a lot during this tournament. As the only top seed left in the mix, the American was expected to win the trophy and he did so in an amazing second-set tiebreak.

The scenes after the tournament were exciting as usual. Paul was clicking pictures with the trophy and his girlfriend when fans started trolling the couple. Paul’s girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, joined in for the photoshoot and tried to turn Paul’s head for a romantic picture, raising eyebrows.

American No.2 Tommy Paul had a rather roller-coaster of a season, where he failed to make an impact in bigger tournaments. However, he broke that slump with aggressive tennis at the Queen’s Club Championships.

As the fifth seed, he was the only one from the top five left and held on to it to become the new champion. Moreover, with this win, Paul overtook Taylor Fritz to become the new American No. 1.
