Former BMF champion Justin Gaethje has been out of MMA action for almost a year now. The ‘Highlight’ is looking forward to making a strong comeback in his upcoming bout. Ahead of the fight, the lightweight fighter was recently seen training with former UFC champion Kamaru Usman.

Gaethje and Kamaru Usman represent the same gym, ONX Sports under reputed MMA coach, Trevor Wittman. In the latest viral clip, both fighters can be seen training with each other on the mat. During the sparring session, Gaethje showed an incredible and spontaneous move to counter Usman’s takedown, which caught the attention of fans.

Both Usman and Gaethje have lost their last fights and are eager to get back to their winning ways. Usman is currently on his last stint as a professional fighter and wants to prove that he can still continue at the top. Apart from that, at UFC 300, the ‘Highlight’ got brutally knocked out by Max Holloway and lost his BMF belt. 

At UFC 313, Justin Gaethje is scheduled to go against Dan Hooker, who is currently on a great run. Both fighters are well known for their violence and fans are hyped about this match-up. It is expected to be a bloodbath, given the tremendous chin of both Hooker and Gaethje.

Justin Gaethje has been part of several wars inside the cage. His fights with lightweight legends such as Tony Ferguson, Dustin Poirier, etc are extremely entertaining for the fans. The American fighter has won the interim championship once but was unable to capture the undisputed belt.
