Marcus Rashford’s time at Manchester United seems to be up, as the 27-year-old was left out of the squad once again for the club’s trip to Bournemouth. The Red Devils, in the forward’s absence, however, went on to lose the Premier League encounter 3-0. 

Englishman Marcus Rashford was left out of United’s squad for the third successive match, failing to even make it to the bench. He had previously been axed from the team for their last two matches, against Manchester City and Tottenham.

Despite remaining under contract at the club until 2028, Rashford looks to have fallen out of favor under manager Ruben Amorim. The Portuguese, who joined from Sporting CP last month, pointed to the player’s poor form and his attitude and behavior as major issues.

Marcus Rashford had most recently, admitted that he is ready to take up a new ‘challenge’, hinting towards his exit. However, responding to his statements, Amorim, publicly exclaimed his importance in the team, and urged the 27-year-old to stay at Old Trafford.

The manager termed him as a ‘big talent’, and also went on to state that he wants to help Rashford perform at the highest levels. His recent actions, in excluding the forward from the squad, however, do not seem to align with his statements. 

It remains to be seen what lies ahead for the talented forward, whose 20-year association with the club seems to be nearing its end. Rashford remains a transfer target of several clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG. However, his massive £325,000-a-week wages might pose a challenge.

Fans respond to Marcus Rashford’s omission from Manchester United’s squad once again, amid exit rumors  

Marcus Rashford was most recently left out of Manchester United’s squad, confirming rumors of a rift with manager Ruben Amorim. Fans shared their reactions to his recent exclusion, amid rumors of his exit from his boyhood club.

Fans expressed their reactions on social media, with some of them exclaiming that his time at the club is over. A few others blamed Ruben Amorim for treating the 27-year-old forward harshly, also comparing it to how his predecessor Erik ten Hag treated him. Some fans interestingly suggested Chelsea to sign Marcus Rashford next year, in a similar fashion in which they signed Jadon Sancho. Here are some of the reactions:

The 27-year-old has clearly failed to live up to expectations this season, scoring just seven goals in 24 appearances for the club. However, his Man Utd career has been a rather bright one. He has scored 138 goals in 426 matches for the Red Devils.
