Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, in a surprising response to autograph hunters, issued a staunch life lesson to them that went viral on social media. He scolded the young fans and urged them to stop running after him for autographs and do something better in life.
Pep Guardiola has not been in his usual self this season. He has grown impatient amid the club’s poor run, winning just four out of their last 16 matches. The Spaniard boss has however led his side to make a comeback. Manchester City are now on a three-match winning run.
The club most recently demolished Salford City 8-0 in an FA Cup third round encounter. Nonetheless, it has been a difficult few months for Guardiola, who has seen his side drop to 6th position on the Premier League table. The short-fused 53-year-old Spaniard manager appeared in a recent video, showing him giving out life lessons to a group of autograph hunters.
The young fans surrounded Guardiola outside his Manchester home, asking for shirts and other memorabilia to be signed. A fiery Guardiola instantly recognized their faces as regular autograph seekers. He urged them to stop wasting their lives and follow their dreams while making an X-rated rant. Guardiola also asked them to go back to school, leaving fans amused.
These absolute helmets. Pep is spot on👏🏻👏🏻.

Moreover, there have been suggestions that the Manchester City manager might have lost his cool this season. Earlier this season in a similar incident, Guardiola almost engaged in a heated altercation with a fan, who mocked him after the club’s defeat.
Fans react to a viral video of Pep Guardiola’s outburst at Manchester City fans asking for autographs
Social media users and football fans were left amazed at a video of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola lamenting serial autograph hunters outside his residence. The 53-year-old manager was seen urging fans to stop wasting their time, running after him for autographs.
Fans agreed with Pep Guardiola’s brief outburst while stating that he is ‘spot on’ with his arguments. A few others exclaimed that the autograph hunters do not approach Guardiola out of love for the club, only for hustle money. Some fans, however, criticized the Spaniard boss for his lecture. One fan labeled the Man City boss as ‘selfish’, while another urged him to rather motivate his players.
No he’s not. Easy to say when you’re a multi millionaire. We live in a slave system. Everyone has bills to pay

Nothing wrong here. Basically telling youngsters to sort out their lives and do something more important but better. As any father would really.

These guys are honestly shameless. Despite the tongue lashing they just continued to stand there and smile like idiots.

Leaving aside the criticism, Pep Guardiola and Manchester City will be hoping to bring their EPL campaign. They next face Brentford and Ipswich Town away from home, followed by a crucial UCL encounter against PSG.
