Bayern Munich forward Michael Olise starred as the Bavarian giants defeated Werder Bremen 5-0, to seal their place on top of the Bundesliga table. Fans praised the French winger for his brilliant Man of the Match display, as he recorded four goal contributions.

The 22-year-old French forward was named MOTM for his impressive display against Werder, who are currently placed in the 10th position on the German league table. He opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, finishing off a lovely flowing move, followed by an assist nine minutes later for Jamal Musiala. Olise then assisted Harry Kane for another goal from the edge of the box, before completing his brace in the 60th minute with a brilliant left-footed strike into the top corner.

Michael Olise, who had joined from Crystal Palace this summer on a 53 million transfer fee, stole the show with his display. His dribbling and finishing skills helped Bayern win three back-to-back matches with a dominant scoreline. This includes a 6-1 win over Holstein Kiel, followed by a record 9-2 win over Dinamo Zagreb in the UCL, this week. The Frenchman, meanwhile, has taken his tally to eight goal contributions in just six appearances, which include five goals and three assists.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich have now scored 20 goals in their last three matches, kick-starting the Vincent Kompany era on a positive note. The club will also look to better their third-place finish in the Bundesliga last season, having lost the title to Bayer Leverkusen.
