LeBron James is about to enter season No. 23 and is still a part of the GOAT debates alongside Michael Jordan. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has accomplished a lot, and Draymond Green was up front and center to watch it all.

Basketball fans are aware that Draymond Green is part of LeBron James’ inner circle. Therefore, he will go to any lengths to prove that his friend is the NBA’s GOAT over Michael Jordan.

However, the example he used to present his case did not sit well with fans. They believe he intentionally omitted the part where the 40-year-old superstar has won championships with superstars.

Moreover, Jordan did not build a super team to win titles, whereas James is touted as the one who started the super team era as a way to win championships. Then, fans were also livid at Green’s attempts to belittle a former player just to prove this point.

Green claims the media did not reveal that part of the clip and, therefore, did not penalize Sabonis for his actions. Instead, they went for the easy way out and pinned the blame on the Warriors’ star.
