Fans slam Jemele Hill after she posts tweet in defense of Caitlin Clark after Indiana Fever go 1-7 in WNBA. Hill led agenda against Clark
The WNBA world was lit with allegations that Caitlin Clark was the recipient of fame and success because she was ‘White and Straight’. The start of it all was at the hands of reporter Jemele Hill, who suggested that black players were ignored.
However, now after Clark and her Indiana Fever fell to a 1-7 record, Hill made a comment in support of Clark. She wrote on her official X to address the same.

She’s figuring it out — as most of us thought she would. I know the losing stinks, but I have to be honest, the idea of her, Aaliyah Boston and possibly Paige Bueckers on next year’s team … now we’re cooking with gas.Jemele Hill wrote
Coming out in defense of Clark after gaslighting her for getting fame and fortune due to her race and sexual preferences was instantly called out by fans. They knew this was an attempt to take the spotlight out of Hill’s face as the world now knows who started the hate agenda.
Since Jemele Hill started that narrative, many people in the media and the WNBA spoke out against the rookie. They suggested that black women’s basketball players have been trying to get the sport to the next level. But they could not as they never could get the fame and recognition this college player received.
But soon, a bevvy of support flowed in Clark’s direction. Most notably it was big-name stars such as LeBron James and Charles Barkley who called out Hill and others for hating on Clark. The NBA superstars reminded the seemingly jealous women that it was Clark that has brought all this into the league. Now fans echoed the same after this tweet.
Fans slam Jemele Hill for backtracking on White and Straight agenda
After Jemele Hill started this narrative, the entire focus of the sporting world suddenly brought a negative spotlight onto the WNBA. It showed that the players were jealous and were not happy with the spotlight falling only on her. Therefore, when suddenly Hill came out with this statement in her defense, fans could see the change in her tune.
They took no time to call out the reporter for backtracking on her agenda against Caitlin Clark. Check out some of those reactions below.
Caitlin Clark has definitely brought the spotlight to the WNBA. However, being part of a young and inexperienced Indiana Fever is resulting in these losses. But Jemele Hill’s comment is not consistent with what she maintained up until a few days ago.
