Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham was caught making an X-rated abuse towards the linesman for his decision to award Atletico Madrid a throw-in. The incident occurred during a heated Madrid derby between Real and Atletico, which ended with a 1-1 scoreline.
Los Blancos were held to a disappointing draw against second-placed Atletico Madrid. It marked the La Liga leaders’ second straight league match without a win after their defeat to Espanyol last week. Atletico took a first-half lead, thanks to Julian Alvarez‘s 35th minute penalty. However, they fought back through Kylian Mbappe‘s 50th minute strike, which marked his 22nd goal this season.
Jude Bellingham was left frustrated in the very early stages of the match. While contesting for the ball in the 11th minute with Marcos Llorente, the ball went outside. The linesman surprisingly signaled a throw-in in favor of Atletico. This immediately infuriated the Englishman, who then turned around and made an X-rated comment, presumably towards the linesman. He was clearly audible on a pitch-side microphone.
F*** you man! F*** off!
Jude Bellingham’s X-rated rant at the assistant referee
Despite Bellingham’s angry show of dissent, he escaped a booking and continued playing until the final whistle. The 21-year-old rant came months after he had called a referee a ‘piece of s***’ during Real’s La Liga match against Espanyol last year. It remains to be seen whether La Liga launches an investigation into the midfielder’s latest outburst. He could be handed a three-match ban if found guilty.
Disgusting institution

Nonetheless, the match still leaves the two Madrid teams up on top of the La Liga table with a point separating them. A win for Real Madrid could have seen them take a considerable seven-point lead over arch-rivals FC Barcelona, who remain third with 45 points.
Jude Bellingham faces backlash from fans over inappropriate comment to linesman
Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham was not booked despite having made an inappropriate X-rated comment at the linesman during a heated La Liga match against Atletico Madrid. This left fans utterly surprised, as they reacted to it on social media.

Some fans labeled the referees as ‘corrupt’, and Real Madrid as a ‘disgusting institution’ for getting away with such things. A few others claimed that everyone in the Spanish league supports Real Madrid. One fan urged La Liga to hand the Englishman a three-match ban. The fan referenced Robert Lewandowski‘s punishment for gesturing towards the referee previously.
Like Hansi Flick. Yet they’re complaining about the pen which is so obvious 🤣

1) Footballers swear all the time,
2) The referee is on the other side of the pitch.
Maybe they don't understand English 🤔

Meanwhile, contrary to claims, Real Madrid players and fans were left fuming at the referees decision-making. The hosts were of the belief that the decision to award a penalty to Atletico Madrid in the first-half was not an accurate one.
