Donald Trump has yet to enter his second term in office as the US President. However, on the way, his imprints did bring about a whirlwind, especially among WWE legends. The Undertaker, one of Trump’s henchmen, joined Fox News to clear up a glaring misconception. In the lead-up to the elections, Taker and his kayfabe brother Glenn Jacobs, aka Kane, took several digs at Dave Bautista for his political endorsement of Kamala Harris.

Does by any means that entail that Undertaker holds an angst against Dave? No, that’s not the case. In fact, despite political differences between them, The Deadman said he still considers Bautista a good friend of his. Having not seen him in a while, Taker said he’d hug Dave if they met. The same goes for Mick Foley as well. The latter was in the doldrums after Donald Trump trounced Kamala Harris in the polls.

The Undertaker then quipped that even though Dave and Foley are wrong about Trump, he loves them both. Those who kept an eye on the pre-election drama encircling former WWE wrestlers know how messy it was. Even the fanbase was bifurcated, with each side hurling abuses at the other.

Foley, a hardcore legend and one of Taker’s greatest rivals had warned his countrymen to vote wisely. Trump, who certainly benefited from a number of podcasts he did to cater to the Gen-Zs, also appeared on Undertaker’s Six Feet Under talk show.

Prior to that, they, along with Kane, pit themselves in a 6-man tag team situation against Bautista, Harris, and Walz. After the Republicans scored big, Jacobs, the Knox County Mayor, mocked Bautista on X. The Animal has yet to comment on his endorsement of the Democrats resulting in a flop show in the quadrennial polls.

Fans on the fence after The Undertaker’s remarks on Dave Bautista and Mick Foley

It doesn’t seem like The Undertaker‘s latest comments about his WWE contemporaries have sit well among the netizens. The social media is flooded with mixed responses for The Phenom. On X, some of Taker’s opposers argued that he was just being hypocritical.

One even claimed that they’ve lost all the respect for those who fawn over the Republicans. A few took offense at Taker telling Dave Bautista and Mick Foley that they’re way off the mark in their political preferences. Now, some of The Deadman’s supporters did the backing for him.

They believe he should be appreciated for not cutting ties with his wrestling colleagues over just a conflict of interest. The WWE HOF’er was also applauded for being wise enough to not let his voting bias affect his relationships.
