Real Madrid fans are excited about the prospect of new signing Kylian Mbappe winning a trophy in his club debut. The 25-year-old forward is expected to make his first appearance for the club against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup final.

Kylian Mbappe signed a five-year deal with Real Madrid just two days after the club’s UEFA Champions League victory. Additionally, it marked the end of a seven-year transfer saga with PSG, filled with intense speculation and negotiations. The 25-year-old forward was unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu on August 16th, in front of 80,000 fans. He has been given the number 9 shirt, previously worn by Karim Benzema.

The French World Cup winner is set to make his Real Madrid debut against UEL winners Atalanta, at the National Stadium in Warsaw, Poland. This match could mark his first major title with the club. Mbappe joined his new teammates for their pre-season training and has been named in the squad for the match. However, manager Carlo Ancelotti while confirming Mbappe’s fitness and readiness, remained coy about whether the forward will start the game.

Additionally, Ancelotti expressed excitement about Real Madrid’s attacking options featuring Mbappe, Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Brahim Diaz, Endrick, and Arda Guler. Los Blancos are aiming to secure their sixth UEFA Super Cup victory.
