Real Madrid fans criticized the club’s new recruit Endrick, following a dismal outing against Barcelona in a pre-season friendly at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The young Brazilian failed to make an impact as Los Blancos lost 2-1 to their arch-rivals.
Endrick was unveiled as a new Real Madrid player on 27 July, following which he made his Real Madrid debut against AC Milan. The young Brazilian had already gained attention in his home country before his dream move to Spain. However, the 18-year-old forward had a disappointing performance in his first El Clasico match ahead of the new season. It was a forgettable night for Los Blancos as Pau Victor scored twice to secure a victory for the Catalan club.
The ex-Palmeiras star, despite showing early flashes of promise, struggled to make a significant impact. Closely marked by the Barcelona defense, he failed to create any notable scoring opportunities. During his 67 minutes on the pitch, Endrick was unsuccessful in all three of his dribble attempts, lost possession five times, and didn’t register a single shot on goal. He was eventually substituted by Nico Paz, who went on to score Real Madrid’s only goal.

Paz scored with a brilliant header from an Arda Guler corner, but it wasn’t enough to change the result. Moreover, the loss marked Los Blancos’ second consecutive pre-season defeat, following their loss to AC Milan in Chicago.
Fans slam Real Madrid youngster Endrick after dismal El Clasico debut
Brazilian forward Endrick faced criticism from fans after a disappointing performance in just his second appearance for Real Madrid. Fans took to social media to express their reactions, even calling his transfer to the club ‘fraudulent’.
Social media users reacted negatively to the 18-year-old forward’s performance in his debut match. Many expressed disappointment, comparing him to other underperforming players like Manchester United’s Antony. Some fans questioned the hype surrounding his transfer and even the logic of comparing Endrick to Brazilian legend Pele.

What matters is that Carlo belives in the kid
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, however, has praised Endrick’s talents and remains hopeful about his role next season. Some believe he might share the same fate as fellow Brazilian star and Barcelona player, Vitor Roque.
