A week before Survivor Series: WarGames, Jade Cargill was found laid out cold in the parking area on SmackDown. Since then, her tag team partner, Bianca Belair, has been jockeying to unravel the accomplice at large. Amid the continued scrambling, Cargill has finally broken silence. For the first time since being written off television, The Storm took to X to post a picture of herself.
One could see the traces of blood on her cheek beneath the left eye. Jade decided to keep the fans guessing with this captionless photo. Initially, there was some conundrum regarding her injury status. At first, reports showed that Cargill’s mysterious ambush on SmackDown was orchestrated to cover up a legit injury. However, a follow-up from PWInsider claimed that it’s false.
As things stand, the 32-year-old Floridian is on WWE’s internal injury list, evincing that she’s indeed nursing an injury, and it’s a serious one, per Bryan Alvarez via WOL. Nonetheless, the landscape of the women’s tag team division has changed drastically following Jade’s vacation of her half of the doubles silverware that she held alongside Belair.
Last week on SmackDown, Naomi stepped in to lend her shoulder to The EST. After failing to nab Cargill’s attacker, who’s still absconding, Bianca was about to be stripped off the tag team titles by SmackDown GM Nick Aldis. However, just then, Naomi offered to fill in Jade’s shoes.
The makeshift duo of Naomi and Belair then beat Nia Jax and Candice LeRae in a successful title defense. Speaking on SmackDown LowDown, The Glow Queen asserted how she has a storied history with the doubles gold. However, Naomi said she doesn’t like that she got it back at the expense of her ‘Big 3’ sister.

As soon as Jade Cargill posted for the first time in almost a month, the netizens made a beeline to express their concerns for her. There were a ton of comments wishing speedy recovery to The Texas Smoke owner.
However, as the wrestling peeps do so often, they’re trying to drive a wedge between the former AEW star and her other Big 3 friends, Bianca Belair & Naomi. A majority of fans believe that the real-life Trinity Fatu is the one who took Jade out for good.
One even came up with the theory that both Belair and Naomi seem well off without Cargill, and they’re the ones who conspired against The Storm. Even though Naomi has constantly denied online speculation, she’s been quite shady on camera of late.
