“What a waste of money” – Fans turn on Jack Grealish after player fails to score for Manchester City in the last 365 days
It is difficult to believe that Manchester City star Jack Grealish, worth 100 million pounds, hasn't scored in the last 365 days!

Jack Grealish has enjoyed an extremely successful spell at Manchester City ever since signing for Aston Villa in 2021. The player was signed from Villa for a mammoth fee amounting to £100 million.
Despite all the trophies and accolades, Grealish has time and again been criticized for his lack of goals. In a shocking statistic, it was revealed that Grealish last scored more than 365 days ago for City against Crystal Palace, last December.
As news of the same went viral on social media, several fans have begun criticizing the Englishman. Already on poor terms with supporters, the player attracted even more blame when he decided to respond to the home fans.
A total flop. What a waste of money.

Even since signing for City, Villa fans have booed the player every time he has returned to Villa Park. However, instead of just putting his head down and letting the fans do their thing, Grealish opted to respond.
At full-time, the player held up three fingers toward the home fans. This signifies the three Premier League titles he won with City during his time with them.
Grealish played the whole 90 minutes against Villa, although he only managed to get one shot on target. Grealish and City currently sit in sixth position, one spot below Unai Emery‘s Aston Villa.
Fans react to Jack Grealish’s unbelievable goalless streak
Despite his £100 million price tag, Jack Grealish hasn’t done anything significant to justify the same. A fan spoke on similar lines as he pointed out that the only reason media is kind to him is because he isn’t playing for Manchester United.
Another added that Grealish is the definition of freeloading with a side just to win trophies while giving no output whatsoever. Some mocked him for holding up three fingers, claiming that he must’ve been referring to his total goal contributions for Manchester City.

Nope…he’s getting away with it because he’s identifying with being English.

Grealish not scoring in 1year makes Messi scoring 90goals in 1 calendar year looks like unachievable thing?

He has also won 3 PL titles

Everyone is quiet because his name isn’t Nicolas Pepe.

Grealish currently earns around £300,000 per week and is under contract at City till 2026. The player has 13 appearances in the Premier League this season, with his only goal contribution being an assist against Newcastle United in September.
As things stand, Grealish and his teammates need a massive turnaround if their season is to be salvaged. With games against Everton and Leicester City before the year ends, picking up victories against the two sides just above the relegation zone will help greatly in gaining some momentum.
Pep Guardiola‘s side has only won one game in the last 12 outings. The club is currently in sixth spot, with 27 points from 17 games.
