Fans wish Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani a happy birthday on social media. ShoTime will be celebrating his 30th birthday with the Dodgers after signing a historic contract with the organization for nearly $700 million.
It will undoubtedly be a special birthday for him, more so as he prepares for the July 16 MLB All-Star Game. It’ll be his first game as a Dodgers, and his fourth consecutive season to be selected in his MLB career.
The star-studded field will further be joined by players from different teams, including Ohtani sharing the ground with New York Yankees Aaron Judge. The 30-year-old started his pro career journey in 2013 at the age of 18. At that time he was part of the NPB’s Nippon Ham Fighters where he appeared in 18 pitches while also playing as an outfielder in 56 games.
He debuted in the MLB world with a bang and has yet to slow down on his wheels. This year will be more special for the Dodgers star, as it’ll be the first year he’ll celebrate his birthday with Mamiko Tanaka after getting married in February 2024.
