Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges has a lot on his plate, both on the court as well as off the court. On the court, he is aware that his franchise is looking to offload him via trade. Off the court, he is struggling with a domestic violence incident stemming from a while ago.
That domestic violence incident left the mother of his children, Mychelle Johnson, battered and bruised. On June 29th, 2022, police officers arrested Bridges in Los Angeles. He was later released on a $130,000 bond.
He later pleaded not guilty, and even though some charges were dropped, he pleaded no contest to end up receiving a three-year probation sentence. A year and a half later, he violated his probation and protection order when he threw billiard balls at Johnson’s car, breaking the windshield while his children were inside.
Since those incidents, he has been trying to fix his image. He tried to clarify that Johnson used her acne and failed lip filler to portray her injuries. All of this led to even further backlash from fans. Now, the 27-year-old tried to use social media again, in an effort to be with his children.
Alr man enough is enough. I’ve been asking to be with my kids since the season ended and I’ve been denied/ignored… since April 18th. For no reason, just because I moved on.

The former 12th overall pick believes Mychelle Johnson is intentionally denying him a chance to be with his children. He believes the mother of his children is livid that he moved on with his life and with another woman.
Miles Bridges reiterates that he has been falsely accused
Miles Bridges‘ social media demands to be with his children might gain him some brownie points. But he is aware that the general public believes he injured Mychelle Johnson. In an attempt to clear his name, he posted another IG story with these words:
In y’all eyes I’m always gone be the bad guy. But I’m genuinely asking what should I do? I don’t wanna be falsely accused of anything again. I just want to be a father to my children and the mother of my kids won’t let me.

The star forward reiterated that he does not want to be falsely accused again, having faced the brunt of both the fans and the league. That means he is still trying to clarify that he did not physically abuse the mother of his children. He believes that if he tries something, he will be blamed again.
Miles Bridges just wants to be a father to his children. Even if he is trying through all means possible, Mychelle Johnson is not letting him near their children. So far, his posts have been about trying to be a father to his kids and his baby mother getting in the way.
Miles Bridges pleads for help before deleting posts
Miles Bridges did not stop at suggesting that his baby mother was blocking him from meeting his children. He continued to post stories on his Instagram page, and in the next few stories, he literally pleaded with the public to help him.

I need help please that’s all I’m asking for. It should never be this hard to be a father. My youngest son’s bday is May 24th, and I don’t think she’s gonna let me see him.

Bridges has lawyers working for him, but understands that going the legal way would take months. Considering his youngest son’s birthday is this weekend, the 27-year-old was looking for help from the public to somehow force Johnson to allow him to see her.
But soon after posting these stories, one by one, they started to disappear from his Instagram page. Some social media aggregators managed to take screenshots and repost them on other platforms. It is unknown what led him to delete the posts, but it must be something to do with his legal situation.
