‘Fearless’ Brittany Mahomes sends BOLD message after receiving hate from Taylor Swift fans over her seemingly positive views about Donald Trump

Taylor Swift’s new bestie appears to be having some rift with her fans. This was after she publicly labeled herself a supporter of Donald Trump. 

It all started via social media when Brittany Mahomes’ name was seen below a post on Instagram about the former U.S. President, among the people who had liked the post. Swifties have been a fan of Brittany ever since Swift bonded with her after dating Travis Kelce. But that “like” was all it took to instigate a fire of outrage among them and they criticized her for being a Trump supporter. 

Although it’s common for friends to share different political ideologies and still share a close bond, Swifties don’t feel it should work like that, especially considering the infamous sagas of the pop star and Trump. After getting fed up with all the negative comments over a mere like on a social media post, the SI Swimsuit model decided to fight back and shared a bold message on her Instagram story, in that respect. 

Contrary to the tone of the world today. You can disagree with someone and still love them. You can have differing views, and still be kind.

She wrote, “Read that again!” to emphasize her point. 

Her recent story appears to be specifically for the Swifties as she stated just because she shares different views on any subject than the 14-time Grammy winner dosn’t mean she doesn’t love her as before. But prior to this, she also called out her ‘haters’ on her Instagram story claiming people must have “deep-rooted” issues from childhood that they never resolved, leading them to become a hater to someone.

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes dismiss friendship breakup amid political controversy

Amid the ongoing controversy, NFL fans seemingly speculate some distance between the “Lover” singer and Patrick Mahomes’ wife for allegedly supporting presidential candidate Trump. Since Swift has vivid leftist political views, she might distance herself from Brittany– who outed herself sharing the former President known for his right-wing populism. 

However, it appears Brittany is indeed right with her recent story. As she and Swift were seen together in Rhode Island dismissing the rumors of their friendship fading away. The two appear as strong as before, accompanied by Brittany’s daughter Sterling. 

With the 2024 NFL regular season just around the corner, there will be a lot more sightings of the besties together at the Kansas City Chiefs matches like last season. If everything goes well, who knows the Chiefs will make history next year by achieving a three-peat and becoming the first in the history of the NFL to do so.
