It looked like Finn Balor and JD McDonagh had forgotten they were the tag team champions while embroiled in their rivalry with The Terror Twins. Many fans trolled them for not defending their titles until the latest episode of Raw. After successfully defending the tag titles, The Prince sent a message to all the trolls on social media.

Finn Balor took to X to share a picture of himself and JD McDonagh posing with their titles. He was counting the days after the duo retained their tag titles. This was a direct reply to the trolls who mocked them for not defending their titles often. On the latest episode of Raw, The Judgment Day members faced Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in a tag team title match.

The match was anything but one-sided, as the challengers nearly dethroned the champs. However, the outside brawl between the L.W.O. and Judgment Day distracted the referee, who failed to count Woods’ pin attempt. In the final moments of the match, a recovered Balor scored a pinfall victory with the Coup de Grace. This was the former Universal Champion and his disciple’s first title defense since winning it from Awesome Truth back in June.

Apart from defending his tag team titles, Balor has another concern. He will battle his friend-turned-foe, Damian Priest, in a grudge match at the Bad Blood PLE. Ever since the betrayal at SummerSlam, The Prince has ignored a one-on-one confrontation against the Archer of Infamy, aside from the occasional sneak attack. It will be intriguing to see what happens when both stars are in the same ring.

Xavier Woods snapped at his old friend after he suffered a loss against Finn Balor and The Judgment Day

There has been speculation for months that Xavier Woods will finally betray his New Day friend Kofi Kingston. After losing an opportunity to win the tag titles, the 38-year-old star went on a rant backstage. He stated that things weren’t working out between the duo and a change was necessary.

Karrion Kross, the leader of the Final Testament, repeatedly tried to instigate his own friends. All these factors, such as Kross’s manipulation and Odyssey Jones‘ introduction to the squad, messed with his head. The WWE Universe sensed that he might soon betray the former WWE Champion, as they had already caught a glimpse of it.

The group’s third member, Big E, has been out with a career-threatening injury for more than two years, and his return still remains in doubt. This could mark the beginning of the end for The New Day, a group that has stuck together for a decade and won countless titles. Though disappointed, fans are excited to see Woods’ singles run as a heel.
