Michael Cole recently appeared on Logan Paul‘s Impaulsive podcast, where he shared his thoughts on various aspects of WWE. However, his claim that WWE is not a professional wrestling company but an entertainment giant sparked backlash from fans. Now, it seems former Universal Champion Finn Balor has also weighed in on the controversy.
Taking to X, Balor shared a few pictures from his match with Seth Rollins on Raw, accompanied by an intriguing message. Notably, he emphasized the word “wrestling” while mentioning WWE, making it clear that he sees the company as a wrestling promotion. This seemed like a direct response to Cole’s claim that professional wrestling has become secondary in WWE.
Recently, The Rock also made controversial remarks about professional wrestling, stating that a story doesn’t have to end with just a match. While some may agree, veterans like Balor see things differently. Though Balor has been vocal about his stance on social media, his fortunes in WWE aren’t looking too great at the moment.

This week on Raw, Balor suffered a tough loss to Rollins, crushing his WrestleMania aspirations. With tensions rising within The Judgment Day, his standing in the faction is also uncertain. As of now, The Prince faces an uphill battle, leaving fans wondering how his road to WrestleMania will unfold.
Finn Balor teased bringing back his Demon persona in WWE
Finn Balor has been struggling to regain momentum on the main roster. After failing to capture the World Heavyweight Championship and falling short against his arch-rival Damian Priest, his confidence has taken a massive hit. With WrestleMania approaching, there’s a strong chance that the former Universal Champion could resurrect his Demon persona to reclaim his dominance.

Angelo Dawkins recently took to X, posting the phrase “Demon time,” which caught the attention of Balor. The Prince responded, signaling that he was ready to bring his Demon persona back to WWE. Adding to the speculation, Balor later reacted to another post featuring a demon. These subtle hints on the road to WrestleMania strongly suggest his alter ego could be making a return.

Balor last unleashed his Demon persona at WrestleMania 39 in a Hell in a Cell match against WWE Hall of Famer Edge. Despite a valiant effort, he fell short in a crushing defeat. Now, with rumors swirling about a potential showdown with AJ Styles at WrestleMania, all eyes are on The Prince to see how his path unfolds on Raw.
