How many more players will Real Madrid sign this summer? After years of anticipation and negotiation, the Los Blancos finally completed the signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain. Despite bringing him on a free transfer, fans expected the 25-year-old’s signing bonus and salary to bite off a significant chunk off of the club’s finances.
However, recent rumors reveal that the club have no plans of stopping their transfer strategy as they continue to bring in world class players from around the globe. The most recent name to linked with Real is Florian Wirtz, Xabi Alonso‘s trusted forward at Bayer Leverkusen. The 21-year-old played a crucial role as Leverkusen claimed the Bundesliga title while being unbeaten!

Wirtz has three more years left in his contract with the club, keeping him at Leverkusen atleast until 2027. However, it is reported that Madrid are willing to pay upto €150 million to bring him to the club in 2025!
With Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe all at the club, one naturally has to question how they plan to make use of them all.
Fans react to Real Madrid wanting Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz
If there is one club in Europe that can buy any footballer they want to, it’s Real Madrid. Not even a whole week had passed since the club had announced Kylian Mbappe’s transfer from PSG, when news broke of them wanting to sign Florian Wirtz.

A fan commented that Madrid’s ‘greed’ to sign every good player in Europe ruined the excitement in the sport. Another laughed at how their ‘greed’ could be compared to the one mentioned in the Bible.
Some even exclaimed that had it been Manchester City instead of Real, the Cityzens would have faced a lot of unnecessary hate. However, one Barcelona fan was confident that Wirtz wouldn’t join them and that he only had eyes for the Blaugrana. Madrid fans were also confused as to why their club would pay €150 million for a player that doesn’t even want to play for their institution.
Wirtz scored 18 goals and set up another 19 for his teammates across all competitions. He was instrumental for Alonso’s side as they claimed the Bundesliga as well as the DFB-Pokal. Bayer Leverkusen painstakingly let go of their treble as they lost 3-0 to Atalanta in the final of the Europa League.
