Floyd Mayweather’s lavish way of living always manages to attract notice. As such, the former boxing champion continues to show off his substantial riches. Most recently, Mayweather surprised everyone with the extensive security measures in Mexico. The former boxing world champion is seen roaming around in a bulletproof tank, leaving everyone puzzled.

Floyd Mayweather’s upcoming fight is set for August 24 in Mexico City. He is set to compete against John Gotti III, the grandson of the infamous mobster John Gotti. Interestingly, this bout is a rematch, as the initial bout ended in a chaotic brawl. Before the event, there had been discussions about Mayweather’s security arrangements. Footage showed him traveling around Mexico City in a bulletproof tank.

Mexico City is not known as the safest place in the world, particularly for someone like Floyd Mayweather. This is not only because Mayweather always carries a large amount of cash. One such reason for this might be his victories over some of the popular Mexican boxers like Canelo Alvarez and Juan Manuel Marquez.

However, the boxer was en route to Chambao, one of his favorite upscale restaurants, ahead of his fight. Mayweather rode around in a massive bulletproof tank to peacefully move throughout Mexico City. Following that, the video of ‘Money May’ with that vehicle surfaced. Several fight fans were confused by those visuals.

Fight fans react to Floyd Mayweather’s recent public appearance

Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather retired a long way back on 26 August 2017. Since then, he has never been part of any official boxing bouts. However, for his fans, ‘Money May’ still shows his appearance in exhibition boxing bouts. Interestingly, He keeps on doing something else on social media to engage with his fans. Most recently, he flexed his second private jet on his socials.

However, following that, Mayweather’s recent display of wealth through a bulletproof has caught everyone’s attention. The fight fans were quick to react to that. While some were mocking Money May for the unnecessary display of wealth, others believed he was just protecting himself. Check out some of the reactions below.
