Videos have emerged from the high school soccer league in Japan and have caught the eyes of football fans around the world. In the video, it can be seen that the quality of games being played in the subcontinent has improved massively.

Some clubs have been passing the ball like Prime Barcelona in 2012, giving almost no opportunity to the opposition to press them. From starting off the back to making every pass count they have been traveling the ball to the opposition box until they subtly pass it into the net.

Some fans on social media did not spare Manchester United‘s recent slumpy form by comparing the Red Devils with schoolchildren. In awe of their developed game and awareness, one user commented “Even Man United players can’t pass like that”.

With Asian countries in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, India, China, and Japan investing heavily in football, it is a heartwarming experience to see improvement in the natural game of the upcoming generation. Such growth can potentially create a World Cup contender from an Asian nation which could be monumental for the growth of the game in many areas.

Kawasaki Frontale, known as the “Gremio from Japan,” have dominated recent years with four J1 League titles between 2017 and 2021, while Urawa Red Diamonds boast an impressive AFC Champions League record, securing titles in 2007, 2017, and 2022.

Sanfrecce Hiroshima, with three J1 League titles and a rich history dating back to the Japan Soccer League, further contribute to Japan’s football legacy. These clubs showcase the nation’s prowess in the sport since the establishment of the Japan Professional Football League in 1992.
