“Did you guys think twice about it?” Felix Kroos pokes fun at older brother Toni Kroos after announcement of contract renewal with Real Madrid
Banter between the Kroos brothers took over Twitter.

Real Madrid announced that Toni Kroos has decided to stay with the club until June 30, 2024. The German midfielder’s contract was supposed to expire at the end of this month, but he will now remain at the club for at least another year. Kroos has been an integral component of Real Madrid’s success. However, Toni’s younger brother, Felix Kroos was quick to poke fun at the post.
Felix mischievously commented, “Did you guys think twice about it?” To which his older brother replied sternly “at least have some respect for this account.” Toni clearly was not having any of Felix’s funny antics.
Kroos’ future had been uncertain for months before the summer transfer window. However, he has now opted to stay at Real. Toni Kroos has been at Real Madrid since joining from Bayern Munich for €25 million nine years ago. He has subsequently scored 27 goals and assisted 89 times in 417 appearances with Los Merengues, collecting four UEFA Champions League crowns among other honors.
Real announced Kroos’ extension via an Instagram post. Many appreciated Real’s decision of an extension for Toni considering he has been a loyal servant to the club.

Real Madrid closing in on Right back in a loan deal

Real Madrid reportedly are close to completing a deal for Vinicus Tobias owing to their strong relationship with Shakhtar Donetsk. It will be a loan that will last until June 2024. There will be a €15 million buy option provision, but it will be optional.
Vinicius Tobias was on loan at Real Madrid from Shakhtar Donetsk the previous season. And the Brazilian wonderkid appears to be returning for a second stint. He is on the roster to give depth at right back. Real’s current Right Back is Dani Carvajal, who is aging and thus needs cover.
Tobias is a highly regarded youngster who saw substantial action at the Castilla level last season. However, he was unable to get into Real Madrid’s senior squad. It remains to be seen if that changes next season, and if he ends up on loan again at the Santiago Bernabeu.
