Kellyn Acosta is a professional footballer who plays for the Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC and the United States national team. Acosta plays as a midfielder for both club and country and has been one of the most gifted midfielders in the MLS for a long time.
Kellyn Acosta started his youth career at the academy of FC Dallas in 2009. He played for their youth system for four years before making his senior team debut for them in 2013. The midfielder was a regular starter for FC Dallas for five seasons.
The midfielder made a move to Colorado Rapids in 2018 in an exchange deal and played for his boyhood club’s rivals for three more seasons. He joined LAFC in January 2022 and has been playing regularly as the club’s central midfielder. He has already played 32 matches for the club.
