Ted Lasso’s Hannah Waddingham was recently seen on a talk show addressing the series, the characters and speculation about whether the third season would be the final season or not. Writer and lead actor Jason Sudeikis recently revealed in an interview stating that season three would be the final season. He also added the fact that the writers are ending the show in the way it should be ended. What he means by that, can only be found out when the show airs.
Waddingham spoke about the series on the popular Jimmy Fallon show stating: “What he(Jason Sudeikis) meant was, it’s the natural end of the three season arc. But it’s good that I genuinely don’t know otherwise I would just spoil it and be like whoops.” This raised suspicion that a spin-off might be in the works.
Hannah Waddingham plays Rebecca Welton, owner of AFC Richmond, in the show. The show first aired in 2020, opening to rave reviews with critics calling it one of the best shows of the year. In the following years, it won multiple Emmys across two seasons. As for season 3, it airs on March 15, 2023, exclusively on Apple TV+.

Ted Lasso Cast
Ted Lasso is a sports drama series which focuses on the ups and downs of AFC Richmond, a fictional club situated in London. The show was co-written by the actor with the titular role, Jason Sudeikis. Sudeikis has previously acted in films such as Horrible Bosses, We’re The Millers and The Angry Birds Movie.
The rest of the cast includes Brett Goldstein playing Roy Kent, Hannah Waddingham playing Rebecca Welton, Phil Dunster as Jamie Tartt, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones and Toheeb Jimoh as Sam Obisanya in major roles.
The third season of Ted Lasso premieres in March 2023 only on Apple TV+. It is rumored to be the final season.
