Canada welcomes El Salvador to the BMO field on Thursday for their third World Cup qualifying match.
Both sides played out draws in their last games against USA and Honduras respectively, and will be looking for the first win of the qualifying campaign.

Canada played out a 1-1 against fierce rivals USA in their last game at the Nissan Stadium on Sunday. They now have two draws from the first two games and will surely want to register a win when they take on El Salvador on Wednesday.
Canada weren’t able to capitalize against Honduras in their first home game and failed to take the advantage of the home fans that were back in the stadium for the first time over two years.
Canada was decent in their match against USA. Brendon Aaronson opened the scoring for USA early in the second half but Canadian striker Cyle Larin was once again on target scoring in the 62th minute and levelling the matters.
Cyle Larin now has 2 goals in 2 qualifying matches for Canada.
Their opponents, El Salvador have also started with two draws in the first two qualifying games for the 2022 World Cup.
It was a hard fought point against USA in their first game.
However in their last game against a stubborn Honduras side who have been great defensively they were unable to find the back of the net, and will look go for a win when they face Canada on Wednesday.

Canada vs El Salvador: Prediction
Canada will look to take the advantage of the home fans this time and will surely want to take home all three points against their opponents El Salvador.
However it will not be an easy game at all as the visitors have the quality to defend for longer periods in the game and can frustrate the opposition.
But Canada still has the edge to win this game in front of their home fans.
