Sweden are second in Group B with 9 points from four games and trail leaders Spain by 4 points. However Sweden do have two games in hand and victory in those two will see them take the top spot and will lead Luis Enrique’s side with 2 points. Sweden were successful in beating Spain in the last international break last month winning 2-1 on the night. Spain opened the scoring in the 4th minute with Carlos Soler finished from close range from a Jordi Alba cross.

However the lead did not even last a minute as Sweden equalised through Alexander Isak. But it was Viktor Claesson’s 57th minute strike from close range which proved to be the winner in the end. Sweden however failed to build from their win against Spain as they beaten by Greece in the next group game. Sweden face Kosovo next and will surely want to get back to winning ways against them.

Kosovo have a win, a draw and 3 losses in their five group games and are 4th in Group B. Kosovo earned a hard fought draw against Greece when Vedat Muriqi scored the equaliser in the 92nd minute of the match to earn a point for his nation. Kosovo were then beaten by Spain 2-0 in their next game, and now take on a Sweden on Saturday.

Sweden have 2 games in hand and will surely want to win both of them as that will take them at the top of Group B and lead Spain by 2 points. A win against Kosovo is a must to and Olof Andersson’s side have all the quality they need to get a win against Kosovo in Saturday. On the other hand Kosovo were decent in their recent loss to Spain but we still predict a win for Sweden in what will be a tightly contested game.
