5) 2010/11 La Liga vs Deportivo La Coruna

Cristiano Ronaldo was strong and fast in the match against Deportivo La Coruna in the La Liga in the 2010/11 campaign. Real Madrid took on Deportivo in the sixth matchday of the La Liga season as they faced each other in Santiago Bernabeu.

Cristiano Ronaldo came across a gruesome foul at the 74th minute of the game where Claudio Morel put his studs high up and stuck into Ronaldo’s stomach. The Paraguayan centre back was not shown any card which frustrated Ronaldo. Real Madrid went on to beat Deportivo 6-1 with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring twice in the match.

The Portuguese star came onto the field and scored the opening goal of the match which Real Madrid went on to win 2-1. The El Classico has always been one of the most fiercesome contest in the history of football and so has been the competition level between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Both of these players have been the legends of football and suffered some gruesome injuries in the field, especially in El Classico.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi was the man of the hours for each clubs in the second leg of El Classico in La Liga 2017/18 season. Cristiano Ronaldo equalised the score by scoring a tap in at the 14th minute but was in return brutally fouled by Gerard Pique. The match ended in 2-2 draw with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi scoring two goals for Barcelona and, Ronaldo and Gareth Bale equalising the score later on for Real Madrid.

One of the most gruesome and dangerous injury Cristiano Ronaldo suffered was against Deportivo La Coruna in the La Liga 2017/18 season. Real Madrid went up against Deportivo to play their second leg in La Liga at Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid secured a smashing 7-1 victory against Deportivo in the match with Nacho scoring twice, Bale scoring twice, Modric scoring once and Cristiano Ronaldo scoring twice. Cristiano was in a staggering form creating trouble for Deportivo all around in the field but with the last goal scored in the match, the Portugues suffered a major and quite dangerous injury.

Cristiano rushed to the box to head the ball into the net which was successfully but was sliced right near his left eye by Fabian Scharr who intended to clear the ball out. Cristiano Ronaldo kept on bleeding as the medical team took care of the situation although the Portuguese had to leave the field with few minutes left on the clock.
