Alexandre Lacazette focused with Arsenal until January as his agents look out for other options

Alexandre Lacazette, the 30 year old Frenchman has been representing the English club Arsenal for a while now and his performance seem to have taken a great downfall.

Lacazette joined Arsenal from Olympique Lyonnais in 2017 for a then record breaking fee of £46.5m on a five year deal. Since his joining the Frenchman has scored 68 goals in 180 appearances for the Gunners which is great stat but this numbers could have been a little better if he could have been consistent more.

He had a great starting season for the Gunners and continued to prove his worth for the club in the European stages also. Lacazette has won the Community Shield in 2017 and the FA Cup in 2019/20 with the Gunners.

Lacazette has not been able to make enough game time and is also not called by Deschamps for the France National squad for years now as he has failed to remain a consistent performer in the last couple of years.

Although Lacazette’s agent is in search of a new club for him, the Frenchmen remains focused to deliver his best before he takes his leave from Arsenal after his 5 years stint.

“Obviously my agents are now looking left and right a bit. But not before January – I really want to turn towards something,” Lacazette on his interview with Téléfoot.

“We’ll see what comes up, if the challenges are interesting, if the projects are nice and how I’m being counted on. So there’s still a lot of questions, and I would rather wait until January to position myself.”

“When I was in the squad before the last World Cup, and I wasn’t brought into the team, I wasn’t called up at all and it was very hard to believe that I would be in the final list to take part in the tournament. I would be a France supporter as I was in previous competitions.”
