Manchester United have come out with a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid from their first leg away tie, played at the Wanda Metropolitano. Anthony Elanga scored his first Champions League goal to equalize for the Red Devils.
After a disappointing performance in the first half, which saw United go into the break at 1-0 down, courtesy of the Joao Felix goal, the Premier League side showed great improvement to eke out the draw in the end.

Although there would still be question marks on United’s overall performance, Ralf Rangnick can commend himself on a job well done at the end of the first leg in the Round of 16 stages.
