Arsenal Owner Stan Kroenke handed a huge £2.9bn boosts as LA Rams win Super Bowl 56
Arsenal fans will be fuming right watching club owner Stan Kroenke lift the Super Bowl trophy on Sunday as Los Angeles Rams defeated Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 at the state-of-art SoFi Stadium. It is fair to say that Stan Kroenke’s attention is divided at the moment but the American business tycoon has got his hands on the famous Vince Lombardi Trophy.
LA Rams became Super Bowl champions for the second time in their history and Stan Kroenke has certainly delivered. The Arsenal owner took over Los Angeles Rams in 2010 which were known as St Louis Rams before relocating the NFL team to Los Angeles and also building the state-of-art SoFi Stadium which is the most expensive sports stadium ever costing an estimated £4bn.
Stan Kroenke’s investment is finally paying of dividends after LA Rams claimed the Super Bowl 56 victory and it appears that Kroenke and his family may scoop a large chunk of penny should they decide to sell the club in the future. Reports suggests that LA Rams are now the third most valuable team in NFL, only the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots valuing more than their £3.45bn. Kroenke invested a reported £553m back in 2010 to acquire LA Rams.

“It’s amazing, and I am just really proud of this group,So happy for them, and then you talk about these players. They’re unbelievable, and they just hung in there. It was a tough game and I’m just so proud of them executing like they did.” Stan Kroenke said.
The 73-year old also took a dig at critics for building the SoFi Stadium and said that It turned out alright, “Thanks to the great fans of Los Angeles, your first Super Bowl trophy in Rams house. And as far as building this stadium goes, I think it turned out alright.” Kroenke added.
The Gunners supporters will be hoping for the same from the controlling stakeholder Stan Kroenke to invest in the North London club and take them to Premier League glory.
