Premeir League: Arsenal vs Brentford Player Ratings as register a nervy 2-1 victory at Emirates Stadium

At the end of an end-to-end game at Emirates Stadium, here are our Arsenal vs Brentford Player Ratings.
Both teams started the game on a great tone but Brentford failed to attack. Arsenal kept Brentford pinned in their own half with consequent attacks. Despite a few close calls, Arsenal failed to take the lead at half time.

In the second half, Arsenal started with all guns blazing and got the result in the 48th minute of the game. Emile Smith Rowe scored the first goal whereas Saka sealed the win with the second goal in 79th minute. Arsenal were not able to maintain the cleansheet at the end of the game as Norgaard scored the compensatory goal in the final minutes of the game.

Cedric Soares (7/10): Cedric Soares had a great game as a right back against Brentford. Not only he helped his side offensively but also pitched in for the defense.
Ben White (7.1/10): The English central defender is living upto the hype with his rock solid presence in the defense.
Gabriel Maghalhaes (6.5/10): Amongst the Arsenal defenders, Maghalaes had a poor game. He had less to do but looked shaky while defending.
Kieran Tierney (7/10): One of the best acquisitions of Arsenal in recent times, Tierney was again one of the best players for Arsenal. He participated both in attack and defense.
Granit Xhaka (7/10): The Swiss central midfielder was a key player in the double pivot fielded by Arteta. He had a dribble and tackle to his name
Thomas Partey (7.8/10): Thomas Partey was able to keep the opposition at bay by doing all the dirty work in the middle of the park. He did it all. He was even able to register an assist for the second goal.
Bukayo Saka (7.6/10): Saka was able to contribute both in attack and defense whenever the situation arises.He had a pass rate of 86% throughout the game. He doubled the lead for his side to take a 2-0 lead in the 80th minute.
Martin Odegaard (6.9/10): Though Odegaard failed to score the goal in the game or assist the player, he created the chances that caused trouble for Brentford.
Alexandre Lacazette (7/10): Though Alexandre Lacazette’s goal in the first half was chalked off, he assisted for the side in the second half.
